Ola Szmida
Born in 1987 in Myszkow. Illustrator and animated film director, also involved in comics creation. Graduated from the University of the Arts in Poznan and Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne (DAAD scholarship). Drawing is her main interest. Previously worked with BBC, Ermenegildo Zegna, Boiler Room, Southbank Centre, Häagen-Dazs, Disney Polska, Vogue Polska. Her animated films and drawings were displayed and awarded in numerous international exhibitions ans festivals. Currently working on an original film in the Munk studio as part of the Młoda Animacja programme. Winner of the Warsaw Literary Award for the 'Face, Stomach, Head' comic.
