The International Animated Series Competition was introduced to Animator IAFF in 2021. It’s the only competition with two age categories – for children, and for teens and adults. Additionally, competition films are selected by two separate groups. First, the curators select films in both categories. Then, the children’s category is handed over to the young audience, who decide which films enter the official competition lineup. The winners in the children’s category are chosen by the Children’s Jury.
