A picture of the artist's struggle with the creative process. Short episodes happening off the stage in confinement, seclusion, away from the glare of the stage lights. Seemingly trivial, insignificant events that the artist has to face trying to realize his creative intentions. It is an attempt to construct a sketch of the psychological unit using the form of the 80s alternative music icon - Ian Curtis from the Joy Division.
The short was inspired by self-reflection and the challenge of shaping one´s personality, faced by everyone. It presents the formation of "self" in two areas: subjective (unconscious), and objective (narrative) – the "experiencing self” and the "remembering self".
An attempt of intergender dialogue turns into a symbolic occurrence. A woman goes into space and gets back to Earth to bond with a man.
Dron wznosi się nad krajobrazem uczuć. Para ludzi dostrzega, jak bardzo rozluźniły się więzi, które ich niegdyś łączyły. Kropka waży milion ton. Umysł wypełnia się dziurami.
Inspired by work of a Polish poet Bolesław Leśmian visual poem about being alive and wanting the opposite. Man walks his dog into the dark forest. Thoughts and sensations are swirling in their heads, but they are unable to communicate them. They walk together yet isolated.
A story about the difficult relationship of a mother and daughter. A childhood full of love is confronted with a parent's depression. Although on a daily basis she is a loving mother, alcohol turns her into a wolf. During her transformation, she becomes unpredictable, losing her humanity. Full of metaphors and sensitivity, the story leads us through the child’s difficult experiences.
It’s New Year’s Eve 1999 – “the end of the world” is approaching. The animation reflects upon the fear of a catastrophe, anxiety and thickening atmosphere of the millennium paranoia. The short is styled after film noir detective stories.
A short story inspired by the 2011 catastrophe in Japan.
A story about letting go of others’ convictions and defining your own reality.
