Julian Józef Antonisz x Maks Rz

A unique screening of films by Polish animators whose work resonates deeply with one another. The unquestioned master of Polish animation, Julian Józef Antonisz (who would have celebrated his 85th birthday this year), and the talented young animator Maks Rzontkowski seem to belong to the same artistic microcosm. Their films, visual style, creative language, approach, and storytelling methods - infused with a strong dose of irony and absurdity - reveal many striking similarities within their animated parables.
