Here are the 3 people who created the shortlist for the series competition and the feature film competition!
We would like to introduce you to the people who created the program of the competitions of the 17th edition of Animator! It is thanks to their work that you will see screenings from the series competition and the feature film competition.
The series competition entries were selected by:
TESSA MOULT-MILEWSKA - London-based, Polish-British screenwriter and animation director with 16 years of experience in animation creation. In addition to writing, directing and animating short films, she has worked as a director on commercials and children's series, as well as on an animated series and a feature film. In March 2022, she graduated with a master's degree in animation directing from the UK's National Film and Television School.
FILIP KOZŁOWSKI – Coordinator of the Festival Program and Competitions. With a degree in philosophy, he cooperated with the OFF CINEMA International Independent Film Festival in Poznań, a participant in film courses in Berlin and a long-time member of the AWA Film Club at CK Zamek in Poznań, where he pursued screenwriting and directing in several short films. He has been involved with the Animator International Animated Film Festival in Poznań since its inception (2008) - for a couple of years he was Head of the Festival Office, currently he is the coordinator of the Festival Program and Competitions, as well as a member of the Festival Selection Committees for Series and Feature Film Competitions. He has been running a series of educational animation reviews ANIMUZA. Initiator of audiovisual projects and program curator at film festivals - including Na MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival (Portugal), Thessaloniki Animation Film Festival (Greece), Animatou International Animation Film Festival (Switzerland), StopTrik International Film Festival (Slovenia). In recent years, he has served as a Jury member at several festivals - including PÖFF Shorts International Short Film and Animation Festival, Short Waves International Short Film Festival, PUBLICYSTYKA International Independent Film Festival.
Filip Kozlowski also sat on the selection committee for the feature film competition. He was accompanied by:
ANNA GŁOWIŃSKA - graduate of the Lumière Lyon 2 University (France), she majored in Visual Arts, specializing in Film and Theater. For several years she was coordinator of Production and Program of the Animator International Animated Film Festival. Member of juries and selection committees at festivals and curator of numerous reviews presented at, among others, Film POLSKA (Berlin), Punto y Raya Festival (Reykjavik) and the National Gallery of Art (Washington). Speaker for the Nowe Horyzonty Edukacji Filmowej program and the International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! Lecturer in the Creative Video Production course at Collegium Da Vinci. Since October 2021 she has been affiliated with Animoon studio.
