We invite you to the Animator Unscreened screenings, where the audience will decide which film will join the International Short Film Competition and the Polish Animated Film Competition!
Animator Unscreened is a now traditional warm-up before the Animator Festival. During the event, the audience watches short films that, although they came very close, were not selected for the Polish Animated Film Competition and the International Short Film Competition. After the screenings, viewers rate all the films shown. Those that receive the highest scores will join the screenings during the 19th International Animated Film Festival Animator and compete for the festival’s main awards, including a shortened path to an Oscar® nomination! We invite you on May 27 and 28 to the Animation Center!
This year, we invite you to the Animator Unscreened screenings at the Animation Center on Masztalarska 8a Street. On Wednesday, May 27, the audience will watch films by Polish creators, and the following day, May 28, international creators. The screenings will begin at 6:00 PM.
The audience holds more power than it might seem! Last year, the film „Fish River Anthology”, which joined the official competition selection thanks to the audience, received the Wojciech Juszczak Award for Music.
