“Sen” by Keisuke Itoh is an immersive journey in which the participant is drawn into the Japanese tea ceremony, holding a Raku tea bowl inside the historic Tai-an teahouse. In the dim light of the space, the titular Sen - the spirit of tea - emerges, gradually discovering the world and finding joy in interacting with its surroundings and other beings like itself. Their peaceful existence is suddenly disrupted. After losing everything, Sen dissolves into particles, only to eventually return to the Tai-an teahouse. It is a meditative journey that reveals our unity with the world around us.
