The director behind BoJack Horseman, a creator with an unmistakable sense of humor – is visiting Poland for the very first time!

Mike Hollingsworth, the man who gave BoJack Horseman its iconic visual style, will be a special guest at this year’s Animator Festival! For six seasons, he served as supervising director and executive producer of the cult Netflix series. He’s also the creative force behind Fish Out of Water – one of the show’s most acclaimed episodes, which won the Annecy Cristal in 2017 and was named Best TV Episode of the Year by Variety and Time.

During the festival, join us for:

• A Masterclass open to all – dive into the making of top animated series, Mike’s creative process, and tons of behind-the-scenes stories
• A pro industry talk at Animator PRO, dedicated to professionals and animation students

Mike will also serve on the Jury of the Polish Competition this year 🏆

But Hollingsworth is more than just a director – he’s also a writer, voice actor, and the mastermind behind some of the funniest animal gags in animation. He has worked on series like Tuca & Bertie, Inside Job, Cat Burglar, and The Life and Times of Tim. His own short films have been showcased at prestigious festivals and conferences around the world.

Mike previously joined us online during Animator’s special pandemic edition in 2020 – and that’s when this unique drawing was created.
