The 14th edition of ANIMATOR International Animated Film Festival is past the halfway mark. This may be your last opportunity to enjoy the generous programme of this year's edition of the greatest animation event in Poland!
LAST DAY ON THE FESTIVAL, OR HOW TO MAKE UP FOR WHAT YOU'VE MISSED
Screenings of the International Short Film Competition will take place on Thursday morning. Animations competing for the Golden Pegasus, ANIMATOR'S GRAND PRIX, in the main competition will be shown at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon in the Muza Cinema. At 2:00 p.m., as part of POLISH FRAMES, we will show films by Katarzyna Latałło, the unspoken master of Polish animation. All video game enthusiasts are particularly encouraged to join us at 4:00 p.m. At a section called ANIMATION INTERACTION: VIDEO GAMES held in the Muza Cinema we will talk about narration through animation. ANIMATED SERIES will start at 5:00 p.m. with an online programme called PETER CHUNG PRESENTS: AEON FLUX. A collection of animated shorts entitled FEARS AND DREAMS OF OUR FUTURE will begin an hour later in the Muza Cinema. The programme is part of IN AND BETWEEN US, the Festival's main section.
If you want to watch Rintaro's Metropolis, come to our outdoor cinema in the Open Courtyard of the Poznań City Council at 9:30 p.m.
ONLINE AWARDS CEREMONY - IT'S TOMORROW NIGHT! (15.07.2021)
The winners will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) at 8:00 p.m. The closing event of the Festival will be streamed live on ANIMATOR'S Facebook and YouTube channels.
