The special guest at the 19th IAFF Animator Awards Ceremony will be this year’s Oscar winner, Maciek Szczerbowski. The event will feature a screening of the Academy Award-winning animated film *The
Girl Who Cried Pearls*, accompanied by a live musical performance. The compositions by Patrick Watson will
be performed by the Animator Orchestra, assem- bled especially for this special occasion, comprising:
Weronika Janik-Kurek, Agnieszka Woronin, Anna Machowska-Czachor, Korneliusz Wojtkowiak (violins),
Kinga Tarnowska, Karolina Urbaniak (violas), Anna Szmatoła, Marcin Baranowski (cellos), Damian Sobko-
wiak (double bass), Jakub Czerski (piano), Piotr Pawlus (guitar), Zuzanna Czachor (flute), Małgorzata Marciniak
(percussion), Arkadiusz Kowalski (clarinet). The artistic supervisor of the project is Kinga Tarnowska, whilst Jakub Czerski is responsible for pre-paring the arrangements for the musical performance.
