The animated documentary that became a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Documentary Competition and has been compared to the legendary Waltz with Bashir. The moving story of a teenager fleeing with his mother and siblings from war-torn Afghanistan to Europe. It is also an intimate story about growing up and discovering one's sexuality. Amin's life is dominated by multiple levels of the sense of loss. The protagonist had had to brutally enter adulthood and for over 20 years he suppressed his traumatic experiences.
