From a totally subjective point of view as a programmer of animated films and VR animated works, Yves Nougarède will underline the very close connections existing between VR and animation, from its production, widely helped by videogame knowledge, to the release to the audience and festivals. Yves will try to provide insights about why animation matches so well with VR, and what could possibly be the future of it.

Łukasz Kubiński and Marcin Muszyński from Dash Dot Creations are going to talk about 3D animation in the context of contemporary game industry. Listeners will discover the step-by-step process and the technologies that can be applied when creating a game trailer. As a case study they will use their experience while working on trailer for Real Boxing game by Vivid Games.
Łukasz and Marcin are also going to talk about managing a motion capture session, a technology that allows for immediate feedback from the director or the person managing the project, which in turn allows for precise and immediate assessment and correction of the acting, camera work, and lighting, in the same way that is used when recording takes on the film set.

It is possible to receive a return of production cost for up to 30% of eligible expenses in Poland. The reimbursement is available for production of feature films, animated films, documentaries and series - feature, animated and documentary. The reimbursement is available for Polish productions and films co-produced internationally as well as for services provided for foreign productions. The system is handled by the Polish Film Institute. At least 10% of the annual budget is devoted to supporting animated productions.

Tales of Alethrion is an animated fantasy web series that started with Mikkel Mainz' short film The Reward. Thanks to two successful Kickstarter campaigns he was able to make the first season of the series and grow a big fan community and following. This year he was live with a third Kickstarter for the project.
